Oh hey, we're married!

There is so much to blog about! Number 1 being our wedding day, and two being the most amazing week of our lives... The honeymoon in Kauai. But we don't have internet yet or pictures uploaded so this post is about life after the honeymoon! And a few pics to give you a taste of what our apartment looks like.

This is our kitchen....

And living room.

No pics on my phone of our bedroom or dining area, and we have a spare bedroom but it's currently empty until we can afford to furnish it.

So decorating is coming along slowly but good! I wish I had a million dollars so I could just do everything I want right away without any type of budget but I cannot. However, we have been extremely blessed with all that we have already and I couldn't be happier.

Life after the honeymoon has been great! I used to think it was so annoying listening to newly married people talk about marriage. They all sounded too cheesy "marriage is soooooo fun, I just LOVE my husband soooooooo much" but it really has been fun. Each week I tell Scott, "2 weeks and still goin strong!" (or whatever week we're on) My favorite moments so far are laying in bed at night, staying up late and talking. Scott and I never lived together prior to marriage so this is all new stuff for us. Bed time is the best with him. And we don't have cable or Internet yet so there's lots of talk time.

I'm working on being a better homemaker and making dinner but i definitely have a long road ahead of me. I make Scott's lunches, I'm not sure he even cares though. I think he lets me because he lets me because he knows it makes me happy. Last Sunday was our first week at our new ward! I'm excited to be at a new ward with a fresh start and dive right in. I'm positive we are the youngest couple in the ward. Everyone in relief society was about 50 and they all called me "the young bride" which was cute.

This weekend we are headed to Vegas for a wedding. One of Scott's bffs from his mission is getting married so I'm very excited to meet some mission friends and to have a weekend away with my husband. Then we get back and school starts :( Such is life.
